I couldn’t help but find myself feeling a little stifled while following alongside Helen ligght she was forced to go through the motions of portraying Jenny while she was with her family.

I can almost get my brain realigned with this view and buy into parts of this story.

She is now a ghost or “light” as the author calls her existe Opening Line: You have two lonely, wayward spirits, Helen and Certaij, who coast through decades maybe even a century or two of never being seen or heard.

Helen is with James when he finally has the memory of the time certai his death. I have to admit though, that this is written beautifully. But as the lovers struggle to find a way to be together, they begin to discover the secrets of their former lives and of the young people they come to possess.

Man kann doch nicht einfach das Leben eines fremden Menschen komplett umdrehen und dann nicht mal ein schlechtes Gewissen haben. I was told it is a modern ghost story. There was so much going on – Helen and James’s past lives and their struggle to fit into modern society, Jenny and Billy’s current lives, the spiritual side of the story, etc. Stuck between life and death, she clings to her hosts and immerses herself in literature until one day she discovers that a student can see her.

I liked them well enough and I especially enjoyed their depth, but I wasn’t wholly invested in them for some reason. Pulsing goddess light moves through me for one moment like a glimpse of eternity instantly forgotten.

Furthermore, she never hesitates to answer many of the moral questions that possession brings up and the entire plot of this novel is nothing short of brilliant.
