It is Josten Gaarder’s first book I’ve ever read, and I don’t feel like reading her other book. It was a good read, but I was bored and I wasn’t feeling anything when I read this.
Gaarder often writes from the perspective of children, exploring their sense of wonder about the world.
Anyway, even though being a short story as it is only pagesI really struggled to finish it. Steffi rated it did not like it Jun 20, For example, Ariel states that God was very tired after the 7th day after creating I was not halfway thru the book when I knew I would not like it and I was quite right. I feel like slapping her in the face and tell her to just shut up and listen to what Ariel says without she commenting.
