Fanuc 3t Maintenance Manual

Now I just need to figure out if there’s any way to set DNC on this machine Anybody know mqnual thats manaul option you can add afterwards? Thanks fomaz, I already have the original yellow floppy maintenance manual which theoretically describes all of the “non-option” parameters. Mine has serial so they’re probably real close! I have a RS set up from onother post printed and I will look for the post and forward Email ktaylor earthlink.

I’m Sorry I haven’t been helpful on a parameter list I Have a maintenance manual and I’m Still trying to find time to fix spindle drive on my machine I bought a extra PCB around the first of the year and it got here damaged but It will make a core at least I Have a complete servo drive new in the box for the XorZ of this machine.

Ad text and spelling. You will need it several times. Specifically, how the displayed ‘zero’ is related to the machine reference coordinates.

Started out like this: Helwig Carbon are a source of brushes, BTW. It’s taken about 6 months to get it fully operational, and now I’m ready to make its first cuts since it was torn apart and rebuilt. I have a “random” zero which is wherever the table was on power-up. It was taken offline in when the company which owned it moved to a new 3h and was never put back in service. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help you with your unit! I tore into it pretty good, but I didn’t take apart the main spindle bearings since it spun cleanly up to RPM.

I’m wishing Fanuc had more info on these older units. I have the communications working for uploading and downloading prorgams, but drip would be really nice. This is probably exposing my ignorance, but gridshift is the only thing I can find that references the machine absolute zero.

Posted via Mobile Device. Results 1 to 12 of And that zero is relative to the location of the table at poweron, not relative to the absolute machine zero.

I have the original maintenance manual, but I could not find any parameters that seemed relevant. In any event, it seems to be new enough to support tool offsets. Program input is not started with the data input external start signal MINP.

I just got everything moving, now I have to buy all the long-term maintenance bits Also, where the heck do you buy gang-tool style bits? I was figuring that you do the same thing on a lathe.

Is there are process to set either the work offset or tool offset as relative to the absolute zero instead of the “random” zero? Another thing that originally threw me for a loop was that the X axis was specified mannual diameter.

MINP isn’t defined anywhere in the maintennace manual or the electrical fajuc. I worked a 3T many years ago. Thanks fordav11, that worked! Maybe you can tell me, a mystery item to me on the spindle is what looks like an air driven indexer. Need help understanding “zero” on a Fanuc 3T.

I haven’t found any hardware manual for the PL3B’s, they’re kind of an orphan product.
