Audience with Father Christmas - Sold Out - A place like no other
NEW for is a unique tale created by the man in red himself, just for his Beningbrough guests. In the hall before your stories write your letter to him, spot the elf presents and have an elfie-selfie. Timed sessions throughout the day, lasting around 30 minutes. Further adult places can be purchased. Booking essential to see Father Christmas on — if the elves are busy leave a message and they will get back to you.
We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment, in previous years this event does sell out.
Children meet Santa, then choose from an array of wonderful gifts in his Toy Shop. As you take in the magical surroundings treat yourself to hot drinks and mince pies. The Twelve Days of Christmas
Visit Santa in the North Pole and meet our elves helping in their workshop. Prices for tickets can be found here. Make the most of your day by purchasing a House and Gardens ticket; and see this year's decorations inspired by 'The 12 Days of Christmas' in their full glory, whilst children can enjoy a host of virtual magic around the estate using our seasonal app.
There's something for the whole family so why not also visit our Adventure Playground, enjoy our shops and restaurants, and visit the Christmas Market Stall. There is no admission charge for Friends of Castle Howard. What about admission for children? The children's House and Grounds admission is included in the event ticket; please bring the invitation with you to gain entry.
How many adults may accompany the children? Due to the size of the Grecian Hall there will only be room for two adults per family. Additional adults are of course welcome to visit Castle Howard.
Where is the event taking place? The staff at the Ticket Office will advice you when you arrive. The Grecian Hall will also be shown on your welcome map that you will receive at the Ticket Office.
There will be limited room for buggies in the Grecian Hall, additional space will be available in the House Entrance. What will happen at the event?
